Educator, Instructional Designer & e-Learning Developer

As an Instructional Designer, I bring over 20 years of curriculum development, lesson delivery, and transformative leadership experience in education. With a successful track record in various roles, including school principal, teacher, and university instructor, I have improved learning outcomes through innovative practices integrating technology and professional growth. My expertise lies in collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and design solutions that align with organizational goals. I rely on research-driven practices such as Bloom's Taxonomy and ADDIE to develop effective training programs. Proficient in various e-learning technologies and platforms, including Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Articulate 360, I ensure engaging and user-centered learning experiences for learners of all ages. I take pride in creating personalized learning experiences that cater to the unique needs of each learner. I focus on helping individuals acquire knowledge, build skill sets, and transform mindsets required for success.

IDOL courses Academy℠ Level 2: Instructional Designer was issued by IDOL courses to La-Trice Johnson.Earners have demonstrated the ability to work with clients and subject matter experts to evaluate problems and design sound learning solutions. Earners are able to complete a needs assessment, identify an appropriate learning approach, apply learning theory, design a learning solution, analyze select technologies, and evaluate learning design. These candidates are able to analyze problems and design learning solutions for a variety of purposes and situations.

IDOL courses Academy℠: Learning Designer Credential was issued by IDOL courses to La-Trice Johnson.Earners have demonstrated the ability to apply the instructional design ADDIE process to create an online portfolio and a minimum of 3 separate learning designs. Earners are able to select, edit, design, and modify a website. These candidates are able to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning designs for a corporate audience. Earners are also able to pass an assessment for their knowledge of instructional design principles and theories. This credential includes 3 CEUs & 80hrs

Storyline® for IDOLs®: Articulate Storyline® Skilled was issued by IDOL courses to La-Trice Johnson.By the end of this course students are skilled in the Articulate Storyline® software. They are able to identify and interact with the user interface, create their first project, add buttons and hotspots, add layers and lightboxes, add drag and drop interactions, create user input interactions, insert media and audio, add animations and transitions, create quizzes, and publish the files for review, the LMS, or in HTML formats. Learners demonstrate and apply each skill throughout the course.

IDOL® Movie Magic™: Professional Vyond® Animations was issued by IDOL courses to La-Trice Johnson.Earners are able to create professional Vyond® animations. They know how to use the Vyond® software and apply the basic principles of animation to their videos. These candidates have demonstrated the correct application of the principal features of Vyond. They are able to design and develop an animation in Vyond® for a variety of purposes and situations.

Genially® for IDOLs®: Genially® Skilled was issued by IDOL courses to La-Trice Johnson.By the end of this course students are skilled in the Genailly® eLearning software. They are able to identify and interact with the user interface, create their first project, add buttons, hotspots, layers, and lightboxes, add drag and drop interactions, create scenarios and games, insert media and audio, add animations and transitions, create quizzes, and publish the files for review, embed, or in HTML formats. Learners demonstrate and apply each skill throughout the course.
